Our Story

ENKI, Inc. has been formed to better serve organizations in meeting their evolving information technology needs. We are focused on transferring essential skills and technology to organizations. Enki, Inc. continues Hammond & associates’ service to the information systems community begun in 1980.

So why the change? Hammond & associates, Inc. had become tightly coupled with its founder and the idea that all it did was provide training. The business has changed much since it was founded more than twenty years ago. Sure we still provide IT training and consulting, but we now offer additional services and products, all with the goal to help businesses become stronger through skills and technology transfer. The name was no longer reflective of who we are and what we do.

Why "Enki?" Truth be told, we really just like the name. We know the name has mythological significance (Sumerian God of Wisdom and Water); but what we really like about the name is its brevity, how it sounds, and the curiosity it evokes. And why the trident? Traditionally, the trident symbolizes creation, preservation, and revolution. It seemed fitting considering we provide creative solutions for business problems and try to take advantage of existing resources to bring you the best bang for your buck.
